The Short Version

  • Real station reporting on weather.wtf, an AI-generated news platform. weather.wtf is a real news broadcast covering trending stories from real, vetted local news stations. The stories are the stations' real reporting; AI avatars and tools are the delivery. See our Sourcing Standards.
  • Our hosts: Our presenters, including Noah, Tom and Lucky, are digital avatars from a roster we create. Their faces, voices, and movements are synthetically created using AI video technology from HeyGen. They are not real people or licensed meteorologists.
  • How shows are produced: Scripts are AI-assisted rewrites of the credited stations' own posts, and the videos are produced automatically. We never make up stories. AI moderation flags anything above PG-13, and a person reviews flagged items before they are published. Normal renders publish without human review.
  • Informational only: Content is for entertainment and news summaries only — it is NOT official weather guidance. For emergencies, use the National Weather Service (weather.gov) and call 911.

1. Our presenters

Noah and our other presenters appear in weather.wtf videos as digital avatars, created with AI and rendered using HeyGen. Any resemblance to any real person, living or dead, is coincidental and unintentional. When we share videos on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and X, we turn on each network's AI or synthetic-media label or add an AI-generated note to the post. Viewers in the EU may see a small AI mark on videos. We don't remove the content credentials (C2PA) or SynthID watermarks that our AI tools embed.

2. How Our Content is Made

Our pipeline combines monitoring public X posts from verified local news stations via the official API, AI-assisted script drafting, automated PG-13 moderation (with a person reviewing flagged items before they are published; normal renders publish without human review), HeyGen video rendering, and clear plain-text attribution (@handles).

Content on www.weather.wtf summarizes publicly reported weather news. It is not issued or endorsed by the National Weather Service, NOAA, or any credited station. The Elbo Room live beach cam feed is for entertainment only.
