Hey, it's Lucky. A Gulf storm and fresh wind alerts are stacking up together. Right now, WWL-TV in New Orleans reports: Tropical Storm Isaias is strengthening in the Gulf and is expected to become a hurricane on Thursday. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect along the Jefferson or Plaquemines Parish line. Wind shear will keep any storm weak, but rain and gusty winds are possible by this upcoming Friday. WVLT Weather in Knoxville reports: Meanwhile, a High Wind Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service. The watch is the alert now in place, and it is the National Weather Service notice covering the high wind threat under that watch. 41NBC / WMGT-DT in Macon reports: Elsewhere, a Tropical Storm Watch is up for Upson County, Taylor County, and Macon County.
