Lol dont you think US scientist dont know the weather is coming?😂
I just think its hilarious how we are all JUST now realizing america is literally not prepared for anything lol
That's what happens when you have white supremacist sympathizing GOP taking a vacation during a crisis and not caring to improve the power grids infrastructure so they can charge insane amounts on people's power bills
Really white house? Now you see?
People like McConnell who opposed and blocked Obama's efforts to focus on strengthening America's infrastructure and so also as another benefit provide employment opportunities are culpable in this crisis
This also reveals the need for better and honest leaders.
Apologies for my young age, but did the White House acknowledge this after Katrina? Harvey? Older emergencies? I guess better late than never, but the grid has needed updating for decades
Edit: pretty sure Puerto Rico is still recovering from Harvey & Irma
They figured this out in 1989 !!!
Everywhere in the US needs to start changing their building codes so that it can handle freezing temperatures. 3/4 of the country is fine with the temp drops, so just adopt their building codes.
We need more renewables and grid batteries here, not less.
90% of what went out first was gas, coal, nuclear.
