Vestrahorn Mountains

Photographed is the Vestrahorn mountains in Stokksness, Iceland. This turned out to be one of my favorite locations to photograph in Iceland. The mountains were quite imposing and the photograph certainly does not do justice to the scale of the mountains. This spot offers infinite composition ideas with ever changing foreground and low/high tides. This viewpoint of Vestrahorn Mountains is in a private land and you have to pay a fee of 8 USD to enter (as of Nov 2017), but it is so totally worth it! I loved the place so much that I went back for sunrise the following morning to get better light on the mountain!
