New to Cumberland Motor Services in Feb’ 1982 this Mark II National has been preserved in the livery of Western Scottish at the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust.
Although No.389 never operated for Western many of the type did and while it may upset the purists the fact that a classic product of Workington is being kept alive is laudable in itself.
Here she leaves Kirkby Stephen station heading for Brough.
