National Guard Land

One of my photos of what we call the National Guard Land. Our large coal mine closed a few years ago, and I guess for tax purposes they gave the Federal Government (National Guard) a few thousand acres of mined land. Full of mine pits, hills, spoils, trees and lots of fish. When it is open to the public you are allowed to fish in the water areas.
This picture was taken when my wife and I took a long walk from our house and walked and photographed a lot of the land.
