Few scenes are as beautiful as this mountain pass in North Carolina. The glorious blue sky with cotton ball clouds didn’t hurt, either. I know I took a bunch of virtually the same scene, but I’m going to be choosing the best of these for the book I’m compiling for my friends in Bristol, Tennessee who put us up during Hurricane Irma. It will be tough to choose.
I’ve only seen mountains a handful of times in my life. Yes, the Rockies are on my bucket list, and the Alps in Europe would be awesome to see, too! For now, the views of this mountain pass in the Appalachians is looking like heaven to me.
