The story behind the image:
Some friends and me used to travel to the Alps every year for cycling in the mountain passes. This time again with a ‘base camp’ in Bormio we conquered the Passo Gavia (2652m). This shot was taken when we just left the accomodation from Valdisotto to Bormio to start the 24 km hillclimb. All the alpine villages are so beautiful…a real heaven.
The DSLR’ case was tied to my bike’s handlebar, another lens carried in the back pocket of my shirt. 🙂
