Equipment engineers with the Michigan National Guard’s 127th Civil Engineer Squadron, Roads and Grounds shop, diligently clear the snow at Selfridge Air National Guard Base early in the morning on Jan. 29, 2019, operating two Oshkosh snowplows number 20, and number 13. Efforts to clear base roads, parking lots, runways and airfield ramps, is necessary to allow our mission to continue unimpeded. The Roads and Grounds crew work diligently to keep the ramp clear so that the mission here is never impacted. Selfridge Air National Guard Base never "closes," it remains open under any prescribed contingency. (Photo by Terry Atwell)
