  1. Tim, I have to say that first lighthouse pano was absolutely wonderful. The other question was probably a silly question but was that lighthouse leaning a bit or was it an optical illusion. On the black and white shot, the horizon looked straight to me but it appeared the lighthouse had a slight cant.

  2. Wow Tim – you certainly worked hard for those photos, and they are beautiful! You must have been shaking sand out of everything afterwards! Again, I am always impressed by your music choices. 🙂 And the outtake at the end was hysterical, but likely painful! Hope your head feels better soon!

  3. Wow looked like you were in a scene from Star Wars. Nice images you captured and I swear I said something similar today while out filming about what we do as photographers. Do I see a Tim Day Jnr YouTuber soon hehe. How's your head btw 😛

  4. briiliant tim and well done for vlogging in those harsh conditions, loved the images especially the pano, since I've moved up this way that's one of my favourite locations

  5. Still managed to get some beautiful images Tim, I’ve been going to Talacre Beach regularly since I was a baby as my Gran owned a caravan just up the coast at Gronant. It’s on my list of places to go for photography this year, be much easier if I could drive more than a few miles without being too tired that I have to stop.

  6. I really like that first pano shot. Well done. Pretty tough conditions it appears, but look on the bright side: it wasn't raining! Cheers, Jeff

  7. Some great images in there Tim, top marks for getting out in them conditions, that wind and sand is a real Camera/Tripod killer ! Loved the first Pano and the way you did the location map, nice touch !

  8. What a perfect vlog! That was absolutely amazing, those conditions. I'm amazed you had such pin-sharp images – seriously well done! Loved the whole thing. I would hang all of those images up in a proud location. Well done you two!

  9. All the photos were great, but that last 15 secs of the video was hilarious. I will say though… I've been there and done that lol. I heard every word you said and can't wait for the next vlog.

  10. What a windy day for sure. I think my favorite photo was the almost pano looking one around 1:23… or after seeing the B&W photos… turning that one into a B&W. Either way, love your photos and your videos. Keep up the great work mate.

  11. Stopped me in my tracks!!! My eyes popped out and I like it!! Thee! One of thee best panos I’ve ever seen!! End. Loved this video Tim! Well done getting this done and out to the high standard you have!! Rub that Ed!

  12. Tim, well played for putting this out, it almost feels like a bit of a 'behind the scenes' vlog and has bag loads of personality – camera falling was a jaw drop, head hit was a laugh out loud – we've all done it….but you managed to get some seriously great images. My personal fave – the black and white vertical at 4:10 – that is magical, almost looks toy-like. PoA lighthouse is actually on my visit list over the next 6 weeks, alongside New Brighton for a sunrise/sunset duo – hopefully the weather is a bit kinder. Thanks for sharing, was a great watch

  13. Getting sandblasted, hmm. Must be mad. Was it worth it. Oh yes, quality photos Tim and son. Thanks for sharing. P.s. hope your head gets better soon.

  14. Wow, that was some epic wind! Love the windy/sandy images, the lighthouse is awesome. Good job! My son is going out with me for some photography in the rain tomorrow. It might be good… or not! Haha! Like you said, the things we do for photography 🙃

  15. Evidence of your continued perseverance to get the image you want. Well done. Maybe hang the camera bag off of the center column may have given you more stability….maybe not. Nice images.
