During the White House press briefing on Tuesday, Yahoo News Senior White House Correspondent Alexander Nazaryan asked FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell about the rising number of weather events that the agency has had to respond to. She spoke about the U.S.’s recent natural disasters and the “unprecedented number of disaster requests from governors” because of extreme weather. “This is our new normal,” Criswell said.
