Extreme weather stretching across the U.S.

A major ice storm is tightening its grip on the middle of the country. Travel will be treacherous: more than 1,000 flights have already been canceled. But it’s not just the ice making news. Weather extremes are stretching coast to coast, from 60 degrees below zero in the West to historic warmth in Florida. ABC’s Andrew Dymburt has more.
