Den of Espionage (Former US Embassy), Tehran, Iran

Local residents taking selfie by the outer wall of the Den of Esponage (former US embassy) in Tehran, the capital of Iran. The embassy was seized after diplomatic relations between America and Iran deteriorated during the Iranian Revolution in 1979.

On the surface, the images confirm the country’s anti-US sentiments that we often hear about in Western media; in reality you’ll soon find them conflicting with the aspirations and outlook of today’s open-minded generation.
