This time last year I was flying back from an amazing 16 day trip to Nepal. I met lots of friendly locals, saw some stunning scenery (but the mountains were behind the clouds) and sampled lots of delicious (some questionable) food. Thank you Nepal for the hospitality.
It’s still sad thinking about the devastating news earlier this year. My thoughts are with the people of Nepal.
The video shows my attempt of growing a beard. The soundtrack is Resham Firiri (रेशम फिरिरी), a very popular folk song from Nepal. One of the fellow travellers constantly played this song and it was stuck in my head.
